POWER TRANSMISSION COMPANY LIMITED is acquired by Resurgent Power Ventures Pte Ltd (Resurgent) which is co-sponsored by Tata Power, ICICI Bank and has other global reputed institutional investors. It was an acquisition of stressed assets in the Indian Power Sector of System Strengthening Scheme on BOOT (Build-Own-Operate-Transfer) basis, which includes three substations of 765kV at Mainpuri & 400kV at Gonda and Rewa Road-Prayagraj. It comprises of 800 CKT km transmission lines spreading across the state of U.P. which are in service. In addition, construction of another 600 CKT km transmission lines is in advance stage.
